Featured Entrepreneur: From Homegrown Chef to Business Owner

 Timothy O’ Connor’s love for food has been a lifetime journey. His first takeover of the family grill was at the age of twelve.

 

The youngest of three siblings, his family started to grow rapidly and so did the number of mouths to feed at the Sunday meals at the O’Connor household. Chef T stepped up to the plate and began to cook not only for his growing family, but also for his close friends.

 

Timmy’s food became a staple at parties and the opportunity for a business venture in the food-service industry became evident to him.


At 28 years old, the homegrown chef decided to establish his own private chef & catering company called Taste T’s. The company prides itself on intimate service and restaurant quality food or better on location.

 

Chef T is motivated by the unknown and the pursuit of new techniques and flavors, “the fact that there are new preparations of the staple ingredients and meats that I have yet to discover is inspiring to me,” he says.

 

Chef T believes in the power of freshly cracked black pepper on almost anything.

 

Taste T’s menu items range from roasted squash hummus and ceviche to smokey pulled pork sliders. The variety of items and atypical dishes makes Taste T’s stand out from its competition.
